Inuit Services, Inc is seeking a Dispatcher at Ft McCoy, WI to assign and dispatch vehicles to drivers and/or customers as directed to meet mission requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assigns motor vehicles and drivers for the conveyance of freight or passengers.
Coordinates drivers according to customer requests in compliance with DOT regulations and company rules; communicates with drivers and customers to determine driver needs.
Schedules and notifies drivers of assignments and enters assignment and data into computer database.
Compiles list of available vehicles.
Issues keys and record sheets to drivers.
May issue equipment such as radios to drivers.
Communicates updates of missions to drivers and Chief as needed.
Compiles vehicle and mission data for reporting purposes.
Will be required to fill in for bus driving missions and occasionally tractor trailer missions.

Job Requirements :
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
Must be a steady, reliable worker.
Must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams.
Must be able to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions.
Must be able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete each task assignment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Must have a valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license with airbrakes and a P endorsement.
Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Type and enter data at a speed necessary for successful job performance.
Perform simple arithmetic computations.
Ability to organize and distribute items.
Ability to communicate both orally and writing with internal and external customers and co-workers.
Preferred:
Two or more years experience in dispatching

Be able to work outdoors in all weather types. Injury exposure could be minor cuts and bruises; considerable physical effort of hands and arms required..
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires driving and working out of doors in extreme heat/ cold and possibly rainy weather and be able to work shifts if needed. Physical stamina and strength in all of its forms (endurance, temperature/ climate, stress, etc) is necessary.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
