Responsible for delivering projects required for improving the data infrastructure, data systems, and tools that are used in our data processing pipelines. Collaborate cross-functionally to successfully deliver projects that further our tech stack and our systems. Responsible for the development of automation across our tech stack to make our company scalable. Design and develop processes for data pipelines using the latest technologies. Establish a collaborative and innovative teamwork environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, high degree of craftsmanship, and personal growth. Drive data quality across our data pipelines and implement system controls for managing data quality. Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements.rnrnTelecommuting permitted in any of the states where our company operates business (AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT , VA, WA, WI).rnrnRequires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.rnrnRequires 5 years of experience in designing and developing robust data engineering solutions, scalable ETL data pipelines, and data warehouses that are taken through software development lifecycle. Requires 3 years of experience in all of the following: architecting, designing, and implementing solutions on the AWS Cloud big data solutions using EMR, redshift S3, Glue, Lambda; transforming large datasets using Python and Apache Spark by applying distributed computing concepts; automating ETL/ ELT techniques and ability to write and automate optimized SQL's, subqueries, and analytical queries; creating logical and physical data models for relational and non-relational databases that include AWS Redshift, Athena, and Aurora for the data storage and retrieval layer; integrating data from varied system and building an analytical or enablement layer for data analytics use case.rnrnSalary: $248,768 to $255,000/year. The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.rnrnVerana Health is committed to complying with all applicable pay transparency laws and supports equitable pay practices. We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area.
