Associate Tax Compensation & Benefits JD/LLM Fall 2021
Responsibilities: Work on various employment issues and research treatment. Assist with writing client responses, white papers and reports. Perform employee benefits portion of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence work by reviewing target company files to find compensation and benefit agreements for executives and other employees. Review compensation provisions and assess applicable tax rules with senior members of the GRS group. Compile and calculate various compensation and benefit deductions and costs. Provide tax compliance services to US and multinational companies. Work with foreign offices regarding coordination of foreign tax matters.
