Assistant Professor
The candidate’s responsibilities in this position will be research, teaching, and advising students in the Health Care Administration program, including the Bachelors of Science degree in Health Care Administration and the Masters in Health Care Administration. Develop and maintain a robust program of research scholarship that seeks extramural funding and will teach undergraduate and graduate courses. PhD in Health Care Administration or related field, or MD, JD, or other equivalent degree required. Candidates with PhD completion by the appointment start date will be considered. Specialist certification or association with the American College of Healthcare Executives such as ACHE Fellow (FACHE) preferred. Evidence of undergraduate and graduate level teaching required. Professional experience (e.g. professional position, internship, consulting) in health care administration or a comparable area such as health care policy and/or health care economics required.
