Paralegal/Legal Assistant Part-Time
The candidate will work for the criminal and civil litigation law firm. This position will answer telephone calls professionally and pleasantly, assist existing clients, assist in the preparation and filing of legal filings, independently complete special projects, and assist attorneys prepare for court hearings and trials. Hours are flexible. Required qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; a pleasant helpful demeanor that enjoys helping people; professional telephone and communication skills; knowledge of the legal system and processes in Colorado; and the ability to work as a team and also take on independent tasks. 2+ years’ experience working in a law firm; experience in judicial e-filing software; experience in drafting and preparing legal filings; and experience in working in the criminal defense or personal injury area preferred.
