The candidate wil customer service-driven individual with a strong technical aptitude. A demonstrated track record of past education and certification is as important as the willingness to continue self-improvement of one’s technical skills. Maintain the security-related software, servers, and procedures across all of the firm’s systems and infrastructure. Assist and oversee our current security-related service providers. Monitor and manage the firm’s Internet connections, Wi-Fi networks, firewalls and other remote access systems. Maintain the backup, replication, and data archiving of our various systems. Configure and update the switching and routing network environment. Manage the physical and virtual Microsoft Windows Servers, Exchange Servers, SQL Servers, Active Directory, and related network services. Oversee the VMware vSphere clusters and SANs. Maintain the Worldox client-matter centric document management system. Manage the Remote Desktop Environment (RDP Server Clusters). Manage the Mitel ShoreTel phone system and related telecommunication services. Maintain process and procedure documentation for the firm’s technology infrastructure. Assist the Director of Information Technology in the identification, budgeting, and planning of new technology projects. Design, implement, and support new technology infrastructure projects. Assist the Help Desk team when additional resources are needed. Monthly travel to colocation faculties and remote offices within the Northeast Ohio local geographic area is required. Infrequent travel outside the Northeast Ohio area or overnight travel may be required. Work will at times be performed outside of normal business hours.
