Staff Attorney - Immigration Law
Duties: Provides legal assistance in a range of humanitarian-basedimmigration law matters, including removal defense, VAWA petition, U and T visas, SIJS petitions, and asylum cases. Will be partly funded by a Department of Justice Legal Assistance for Victims grant and will aslo participate in a grant-funded legal clinic for immigrants in partnership with a local Church. Will engage in critically important community outreach, including community consultation sessions and know-your-rights trainings, and will assist in the preparation of periodic grant reports.
