General Information
Chapman University seeks applications for a Part-Time Lecturer of Partnership Tax for the Spring 2019 semester. This three-unit course concerns the federal income tax laws regarding partnerships (including limited partnerships and LLCs, among others) principally found in Subchapter K of the Internal Revenue Code. It covers the formation of a partnership; the operation of the partnership and the allocation among its members of its income, deductions, etc.; the transfer by the partnership of its property to its members; the disposition by partners of interests in the partnership; taxation of service partners and basis adjustments, and the consequences of a partnership’s termination. This course is listed for both JD and LLM in Taxation students.

Qualifications
JD degree from an ABA accredited law school, and significant experience in tax law. Salary is competitive and commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
