About the Role

As an Associate Attorney, you'll work on mass tort and product liability matters involving complex legal and factual issues.



You'll collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys while taking an active role in research, case preparation, discovery, and litigation strategy.



Key Responsibilities

Assist in defending mass tort, product liability, and related civil litigation matters.



Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.



Manage written discovery, document review, and case investigations.



Prepare for and participate in depositions.



Analyze evidence, case materials, and relevant legal issues.



Assist with developing litigation strategies and evaluating case risks.



Support hearing, mediation, settlement, and trial preparation.



Communicate with clients, colleagues, and litigation support professionals.



Manage assignments and deadlines across multiple matters.



Qualifications

Required



Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.



Admission to the Missouri and/or Illinois Bar.



2–3 years of litigation experience.



Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.



Familiarity with civil litigation procedures, discovery, and motion practice.



Excellent communication and organizational abilities.



Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.



Preferred



Experience in mass tort or product liability litigation.



Background in insurance defense or complex civil litigation.



Experience with depositions, discovery disputes, and substantive motion practice.



Prior experience at a litigation-focused law firm.



Interest in developing expertise in product liability defense.



Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and the firm's applicable salary structure.



Comparable associate-level opportunities at the firm have advertised a $170,000–$230,000 annual salary range. The specific compensation range for this St. Louis position has not been independently confirmed.
