Director of Revenue Services
The candidate will lead a team of 43 people with 6 direct reports in executing day-to-day operations for the Revenue Services Department for all locations within the Firm. Will evaluate policies, practices, and procedures to identify and recommend necessary changes. Collaborate with the Financial Systems Team to replace manual processes with automation, where possible, and evaluate new or proposed on-line tools that promote efficiency. Taking ownership of solving problems, special projects, and innovations in quality, efficiency and speed in billing and collecting. Lead the year-end billings and collections push. Work directly with clients, attorneys and staff to provide customer service that exceeds expectations. Perform root-cause analysis aimed at resolving complex issues and establish practices that prevent future issues. Develop and implement internal controls to ensure optimum departmental functionality. Collaborate with Finance Department leaders to identify needs and resolve operational obstacles to providing superior service. Develop and monitor systems of accountability and measurement of staff performance. Partner with the various groups/team leads to regularly review compliance with performance metrics. Firm-wide collaboration to foster support of Firm goals, objectives and initiatives. Staying abreast of the industry and evaluating return on investment for new ideas. Understanding the interrelationships between system and process and anticipating issues and results when complex problems arise. Promote a departmental culture of continuous strategic and operational improvement.
