Griswold Home Care is looking for caregivers interested in 4 hour shifts in the daytime. Shifts needed 7 days a week for multiple clients who require companionship or very basic care!!
Weekend availability is a plus, but not required. Multiple positions are available as we anticipate an upswing in cases as the COVID-19 Vaccine is administered!! Job Requirements
CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS
Companionship and conversational engagement with clients
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
Complete a criminal background check
Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
Griswold Home Care caregivers have these minimum qualifications:
C.N.A. certification or have at least completed the C.N.A. course with aspirations to take the exam
Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking and companion services
1 year of experience caring for elderly individuals strongly encouraged
Able to pass national background check
A minimum of 4 recent references (2 personal and 2 professional)
Cleared Fitness to work and TB test
A valid driver's license and good driving record strongly encouraged
