Video streaming and conferencing web app using Media APIs
The project aims to develop a simple video streaming and conferencing web application prototype for clients in-house purpose. We are an EDU tech firm and you will help us to build an internal prototype quickly, with possibility to be involved in larger projects later on.
We look for a 3-5 year experience (intermediate level and above) full-stack developer or front-end developer who is familiar with integrating APIs. The person must have delivered quality applications end-to-end before. The person should have experience working on HTML5 video or video player before. Familiarity with Google APIs desired.
Deliverable and high-level work breakdown:
1) a simple html5 or wordpress landing page to manage new sign-ups
2) using Google authentication API and calendar API for managing scheduling of classes
3) integrate [login to view URL] media streaming SDK or equivalent to support real-time conferencing and video plays
4) custom a few functions on the HTML5
or an open source video player to support the desired video play time experience
5) a simple user profile page for activity tracking and a API workflow to allow upload files to users Google drive
Wireframes and full spec will be provided.
We have a in-house team with product manager, developer and tester that can help with some work if needed and what we optimize for is SPEED and efficient coding to make the experience work smoothly.
We are an agile team and will provide popular web tools for project management and collaboration. We need someone by May 10th, 2020.
