Job Duties
We need SQL Server developer/ DBA with DW Skills such as C#, SSIS, SSRS, Sharepoint with support experience. Some support experience with Apache, TomCat and Java would be nice to have
Applications are built on Microsoft technologies such as SQLServer, SQL Reporting Services, Sharepoint, Analysis Services, and IIS. Other technologies used are Apache TomCat and Java. Install application upgrades and fixes. Install middle-tier upgrade and fixes. Resolve incidents and service requests. Serve as a point of contact for technical support with various vendors. Monitor applications daily and proactively ensure system is operating appropriately. Assist in planning and designing infrastructure. Analyze and translate business requirements in operational activities. Assist in defining operational processes and documentation. Has the ability to use SQL to solve issues. Strong overall technical troubleshooting skills desired. Ability to write SQLServer Reporting Services reports a plus. SQLServer DBA experience a plus. Desired experience: 3 years of technical support of complex software applications. Education: BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
