You can contribute your unique experiences and background to build a community that fosters mutual respect and meaningful relationships.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT\r\n\r\n\r\n\tUnder the direction of the Area Sales Manager, delivers FS Energy products to customers in Sangamon and Menard counties.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDrives truck to deliver Propane & Refined fuel to customers’ homes or places of business.\r\n\tPerforms service-related propane and refined fuel installations.\r\n\tDrives truck to deliver lubricants to customers’ homes or places of business.\r\n\tCollects accounts from customers and records transactions on customer sales.  \r\n\tPrepares order forms.\r\n\tInforms regular customers of new products or services.\r\n\tObtains customer signatures on receipt for pickup or delivery when required.\r\n\tCompletes regular activity reports.\r\n\tMaintains company equipment according to company standards and performs routine maintenance.\r\n\tAdheres to the uniform policy and maintains the appropriate professional image.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOTHER JOB FUNCTIONS\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerforms all other duties as assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nREQUIREMENTS\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEducations and Experience\r\n\r\n\r\n\tNormally requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer route delivery and sales experience to demonstrate organization and time management skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFunctional Competencies\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProven professional communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.\r\n\tProven team-building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.  \r\n\tDemonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.\r\n\tAbility to use the computer and “attention to detail” skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes. \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCore Competencies\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDemonstrated core competencies, including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOther Requirements\r\n\r\n\r\n\tUnderstanding of energy products along with record keeping and reporting.\r\n\tAbility to operate the computer using ticket-making software.\r\n\tMust have and maintain a valid CDL license, be insurable to operate the required vehicle, and have the ability to travel independently.\r\n\tMust pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol test and enroll in the company’s random drug and alcohol testing program.\r\n\tMust attend CETP training courses and achieve a passing score. \r\n\t \r\n\r\n\r\nPrairieland FS, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, always looking for hardworking individuals to join our team.\r\n,
