What You Will Do:
Perform as Technical Lead / Senior Developer for a team supporting and enhancing web applications
Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Oracle and Spring Framework (MVC, Webflow and Security)
Create and maintain front-end applications using JSP, JSTL, jQuery, and CSS
Write helpful logging messages using Log4j
Test and debug code with Junit and Selenium Cucumber
Manage documentation in Confluence
Manage code repositories in Git / Bitbucket
Mentor junior developers.
What You Bring to Karsun:
Requires a bachelor's Degree in engineering, Math, or Science and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
Expert Java skills - backend development
Hands on experience in front-end development technologies with a minimum 4 years JSP, JQuery, HTML and CSS
Significant SQL skills with a minimum of 3 years experience
Good proficiency in Spring Framework, Hibernate, Log4j, JSON, Junit
Good proficiency in consuming web services with SOAP and REST calls
Using and working in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
User authentication and authorization experience between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
Ability to:
Perform code reviews
Identify problems
Propose solutions
