Legal Innovation and Technology (LIT) Clinical Fellow (Law Clinical Programs)
The candidate will engage in project-based legal tech work within the LIT Lab and LIT Institute. Will work on existing projects in the LIT Lab and also have the ability to develop new projects. Will be encouraged to be entrepreneurial and identify and apply for grants to support existing and emerging projects. Will assist the Lab in developing solutions for LIT Lab clients, including legal services organizations, law firms, nonprofits, courts, and clinics. Work may include full stack development, interactions with clients, and outreach to communities affected by Lab work. Will also help support innovation and technology projects within Suffolk’s Clinical Programs more broadly. May help oversee the work of a group of Legal Innovation and Tech Fellows (LIT Fellows), who are embedded within several of our in-house Clinics and who focus on projects that directly benefit their Clinics’ clients. Will also support the Law School’s Legal Innovation and Technology Institute. May work on special projects and events associated with the LIT Lab and/or LIT Institute, such as hackathons, the LIT Certificate program, the LITCon Conference, panels, and other events.
