Senior Accountant
My client is a Fortune 500 company that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their corporate accounting team. The Senior Accountant reports directly and works closely with the Corporate Accounting Manager. The Senior Accountant will play a large role in preparing and distributing monthly financial reporting packages and completing the monthly close procedures. This position is with an industry leader and offers a tremendous opportunity to grow and develop.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger and posting journal entries
Prepare account reconciliations and execute the monthly close process
Accurately complete month-end activities including schedules trial balances and general ledger/bank reconciliations
Analyze expenses and assist in budget preparation
Assist in the annual audit preparation, communicate with external and internal auditors and provide documentation as needed
Assist with yearend audits as needed
