Description

The Senior Scrum Master coordinates an agile development team, ensures all activities use the principles of the Scrum Framework. The Senior Scrum Master work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Scrum Master leads teams through work actions that can be completed within time boxed iterations called sprints and tracks progress through 15-minute stand-up meetings. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Provide visibility not just to stories in current Sprint but also upcoming effort.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
Experience with the SDLC
Excellent communication skills, leadership competencies, and high level of emotional intelligence
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment and with the Agile methodologies
Experience in working in multi-team environment
Prior experience working with On-Shore, off-shore model with global vendors
Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodology
Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Prior insurance operations background
Technical documentation abilities
Scrum Master certification
Previous experience planning and managing large projects
Prior experience in the health solutions industry
