I am in need of a python developer who could help me scrap youtube ads .
I wanted the python script to cater these requirements:
- video link / screen record ads on youtube (if video is not on youtube)
- name of ad
- landing page
- length
- date seen
- views, comments, likes, dislikes and a json of this stat as history which will be updated whenever we re-encounter the ad
- company and channel details (if ad is hosted on a youtube channel)
** join date, description, subscribers count, post count, company name, logo, email, social media links, industry and a few more other fields.
other notes:
* we prefer devs with python as their primary programming language.
* we might use proxy in the future, so make it an easy switch to the use of proxy.
* this will be deployed in a unix server and should be saved on mysql. (database structure is all ready, and will be given once the project starts)
* you will be supervised by another developer, so work logic must be wise and was not executed just because it works
* the script must be neat and highly commented, as if you were telling a story on how the process goes.
* if you cant do, disagree or do not meet anything above, lets not waste both our times on entertaining each other.
