Job Summary We are seeking a talented, experienced back-end engineer to join our team. As a Back-end Engineer, you will collaborate with front-end, back-end, and full-stack engineers to develop robust and scalable solutions for our projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing back-end APIs, integrating with external services, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability. We'd love to hear from you if you are passionate about creating high-quality code and have experience with technologies like Node.js and Nest.js.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end APIs for our applications.
Collaborate with front-end and full-stack engineers to define and implement API specifications and data models.
Integrating with external services and APIs to enhance our applications' functionality.
Optimize back-end performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement and maintain database schemas and data access layers.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with other developers.
Qualifications
At least three years of experience in backend development.
Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices
Experience with back-end frameworks like Nest.js or similar frameworks.
Experienced with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database design.
Proficient at writing efficient and optimized SQL queries.
Experience with version control systems.
Experience with the Azure cloud platform.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
