Associate Attorney
The candidate will work for the Firm's practice areas that include primarily Consumer/Commercial Collection and Insurance Subrogation. Admitted to the Bar should apply. The addition of other Bar admission, may be looked at favorably. The position includes court appearance work, as well as conducting Attorney due diligence reviews of material/work performed by Legal Assistants/Paralegals/Law Clerks (under the direction of an Attorney) - prior to filing with the Court. Should have the following attributes: Reliable with strong work ethic; Pays attention to detail; Well organized; Ability to multi-task, as well as the ability to work in a high volume and deadline driven environment is essential; Ability to work in a team environment, and act as a team player; Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to interact effectively with people at all organization levels of the firm. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required. Previous experience with the following Collection Software is a plus: Collection Partner and/or Cogent required. Master's required. License Michigan Bar required.
