The candidate will construct, modify, and assess engineering models (e.g., Aspen, spreadsheet) for commercial large industrial producers; To modify and interrogate these models to understand how policy options and approaches can improve and affect industrial decarbonization; To consider new or modified policy options to assist in CCUS deployment in the US; To write and assist in the writing of reports, manuscripts, and articles on engineering and policy options for CCUS application to power and industrial facilities; To assist and help manage student workers joining the same project; To take part in relevant meetings at the request of the Dr. Julio Friedmann, Senior Research Scholar.
