Assistant/associate Professor Of Political Science Or Legal Studies
The candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching program curriculum in the area of Prelaw/Legal Studies, as well as updating the program by creating new courses. In addition, the position includes a responsibility to teach various courses in the larger area of Political Science. The Faculty contractual duties include, but are not limited to conducting scholarly activities in his/her particular field; developing and supervising interns and field experiences in the judicial field; developing classroom simulations such as Moot Court & Mock Trials; directing student research, field projects, professional papers, and theses; demonstrating proficiency in various modes of distance education; advising discipline majors/minors, and performing other related duties as required. A Ph.D. in Political Science or Legal Studies. Advanced ABD’s within six months of completion of all Ph.D. requirements will be considered.
