Bankruptcy Legal Assistant
The candidate will point of contact for your assigned client(s); Keep up-to-date on any changes to client and court requirements. Draft variety of court filings including Proof of Claim, motions, objections, notices accurately and error free. Must be able to read and interpret payment and financial records. Maintain timely and accurate communications with clients. Ability to manage time and independently problem solve. Previous experience with bankruptcy/insolvency legal services preferred but must have law firm or in-house loan servicing experience are required. Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task are required. Must be familiar with loan documentation and financial industry records are required. Adaptable and quick to learn are required. Work with a sense of urgency are required. Must be able to meet strict deadlines and adhere to client metrics are required. Willingness to learn and adapt to change. Effective communication skills and the ability to work with different personalities and methods. Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency.
