Adjunct Professor for Family Law and Domestic Violence Clinic
The candidate will be responsible for supervising and working with students on 3-5 active family law cases and/or Order of Protection cases for an average of approximately 7 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. Must hold an active Illinois license to practice law and have at least 5 years’ experience in family law, and some experience handling orders of protection. Prior training in or work with survivors of domestic violence, or as a child representative or guardian ad litem in a divorce or paternity case, is a plus. Experience working in a law school clinic, or supervising junior level attorneys is also is an asset.
NOTE: Term from August 16, 2019 to May 31, 2020
