Part Time Lecturers - Spring 2020
The candidate will develop and instruct undergraduate courses on a wide variety of topics including, but not limited to: constitutional theory, contemporary policing, corrections, criminal justice systems, criminal law, criminology, ethics, juvenile justice, policing, special topics in criminal justice, research methods, and statistics. Instructors shall report to the Dean of the School of Criminal Justice, attend an orientation, prepare and submit course syllabi, meet and provide pedagogically appropriate instruction during assigned class times, provide timely student feedback, respond to student emails, and adhere to grad submission policies and deadlines. Focus, instructors shall follow appropriate Institutional Review Board policies and procedures to ensure the protection of human subjects. Masters or Juris Doctorate Required. Doctorate preferred. Teaching experience is also preferred.
