Executive Director for EEO and Title IX Programs
The candidate will be responsible for reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Finance and Operations, the Executive Director of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Title IX Programs, plans, directs and oversees the firm’s EEO and Title IX programs. Recommending policy and procedure changes and providing guidance to UA leadership on all emerging ADA, EEO, Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX legislation, regulations, judicial case law, and best practices. In addition, this position is responsible for overseeing investigations of allegations and complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, assault, and consensual relationship policy violations. Must have Juris Doctorate and 10 years of experience, to include 2 years of Title VII and Title IX experience; OR Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Policy, Criminal Justice and 10 years of experience, to include 2 years of Title VII and Title IX experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience, to include 5 years of Title VII and Title IX experience. Should have knowledge of Titles VI, VII and IX and other EEO and non-discrimination laws, regulations and guidelines. Juris Doctorate and 5 years of Title VII and Title IX experience with some in higher education is preferred.
