Technology Architect/Lead (Microstrategy)
Locations:

Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture of BI Solutions using MSTR
Business process appreciation and functional design
Requirements Gathering
Project Status reporting, client meetings and communication
Coordinate with offshore teams and resolve/clarify the project issues
Review design and code components
Work with multiple client teams and lead the project
Client presentations on architecture and solution design
Advise and consult with business users, developers, and management in the creation of analytical solution to support business insight and decision making
Architect and optimize existing MicroStrategy infrastructure with a focus on usability, performance, reusability, long-term flexibility, and standardization.
Provide technical oversight for the development of integrated Microstrategy solutions through expert guidance, review and validation of existing reporting and new solutions to ensure continuous accuracy and front end ease-of-use.
Collaborate closely with other Architects and development teams on Microstrategy application design for enhanced insight capabilities. Establish standards.
Manage technical relationships with assigned vendors (e.g. Microstrategy). This includes driving features and functions requests back into the vendor for inclusion in the product(s).
Lead and direct the work of others.
Skills:
Strong expertise in MicroStrategy versions 8, 9 and 9.2.1
Highly proficient with design and development of semantic layer and application layer for grid reports, report services documents, dashboards and scorecards.
Strong knowledge on MicroStrategy Architect, ability to translate complex requirements through schema layer.
Good dashboard designer with UX and visual design skillset.
Excellent document/dashboard skillset including knowledge of panel stacks, applicability of all graph types, formatting, use of widgets and performance tuning of dashboards.
Strong knowledge on Intelligent Cubes.
Strong knowledge on performance tuning of report SQLs.
Strong knowledge on MicroStrategy VLDB settings.
Good RDBMS skills which includes writing complex SQL queries and database testing skill.
Good knowledge on MicroStrategy SDK and MicroStrategy Web customizations
Good knowledge on MicroStrategy Mobile, development of dashboards and apps for Mobile devices, knowledge of features and configurations needed for mobile apps.
Good knowledge on MicroStrategy Integrity Manager, Object Manager, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager.
Good knowledge on Narrowcasting, scheduling and customization of reports.
Good knowledge of Multi-source option, Transaction services.
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree
Experience Required ( In Years) :
Minimum 5 years

• Candidate must be willing to relocate
• Candidate must be willing to travel when needed
