Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for maintaining grounds area which will include painting facility/equipment/piping/etc., mowing, trimming, cleanup/pick up trash, pulling weeds and miscellaneous grounds keeping duties, for performing general cleanup, housekeeping, janitorial, light construction, painting, and other miscellaneous tasks both inside and outside of the facility and throughout the plant grounds. As a member of the Feed Mill, team member is expected to provide timely, position response/support as needed to operations and may be required to assist in other areas of the Feed Mill. Must be able to read and understand manuals, must have basic math skills, execute and document work completed and have strong written and oral communications skills. Must be able to bend, climb, twist, lift and able to work in all environments of our Feed Mill. Must be able to work assigned shifts and possible weekends. Applicant will abide by Feed Mill GMP’s, adhere to all safety policies and perform other duties as necessary and as assigned by Department Manager and/or Shift Supervisor.
Schedule: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Requirements:
Technical training in any maintenance related field and/or prior applicable job-related experience is preferred. Must have 4 attendance points or less at the time of job posting, no written warning within the last 12 months.
Must be able to work assigned shifts and possible weekends. Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen and post offer health assessment.
