Senior Linux Administrator Unix Admin 4

Profile

Senior Linux Administrator (Unix Admin 4) is needed for Triple-i's Data Center and Facilities Management Services contract onsite at the US Patent & Trademark Office. Individuals must be comfortable working in an enterprise data center environment and interfacing with the client in a professional manner.
The Senior Linux Administrator responsibilities would include:
Maintain and develop Redhat Enterprise Virtualization Environment (RHEV)
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for new server builds
Troubleshoot Hardware and Software problems with AIX, HP-UX and Redhat servers
Provide escalation support for junior resources
Write custom start scripts for various applications
Evaluate and implement potential new tools and technologies
Work Experience/Skills Requirements:
5 years’ experience supporting Redhat Enterprise Linux
Experience with RHEV, HP-UX, AIX, Tomcat, Apache and MySQL
Strong knowledge of KVM or XEN Virtualization
Strong knowledge of LVM and Redhat satellite servers
Ability to write Shell Scripts
Occasional after hours support as required.
Education and/or Certification Requirements:
RHCT, RHCE and RHEV are preferred
