The candidate must have prior personal injury lien negotiation experience and be able to provide quality service and ensure prompt and equitable distribution of settlement proceeds. Should have proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills. Submit and obtain liens from: Medi-Cal; Medicare; Kaiser (The Rawlings Company). Negotiate medpay reimbursement claims/waivers as well as sub-out attorney liens. Draft Lien Reduction acceptance letters. Be able to identify liens from: emergency medical treatment; hospitals; ambulances; collection agencies; chiropractors; and medical doctors. Correspond with clients and creditors over the phone and through email. Work both independently and as a member of a team.
