Billing Coordinator - Law Firm - Chicago - Must have prior legal billing experience in a law firm!! $75-95
A flexible, hybrid work schedule is available with this opportunity!
Well known law firm in Chicago seeks an experienced Billing Specialist to handle the full billing process for multiple attorneys across several offices.
Experience with Aderant, Elite, 3E, or similar legal billing software is required.
Current/prior legal billing experience is 100% required.
Experience with E-Billing/Electronic Billing is required. E-Billing Hub experience is a plus.
Specific duties:
1. Creating and reviewing monthly billing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
2. Generating invoices and sending them to clients
3. Coordinating with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
4. Inputting billable hours and expenses into the accounting system
5. Managing and maintaining billing records and files
6. Assisting with the collection and follow-up on unpaid or overdue invoices
7. Collaborating with other departments such as finance and administrative staff to ensure smooth billing processes
