Position Summary
Provides direct basic nursing care to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse according to policies and procedures, including services listed in the Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon State Board of Nursing. Knows and practices Nursing Department philosophy, standards, policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of residents and staff.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications Required to Apply:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience:
Computer proficiency / keyboarding required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
Required certifications:
Valid CPR & First-Aid Certification
Certified Nursing Assistant (Option #1):
CNA Certification and in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
OR
Nursing Assistant (Option #2):
Certification as a Nurse Assistant in the State of Oregon, having successfully completed an Oregon State Board of Nursing approved training program and still within the initial 120 days of floor orientation/training, and must be in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
