Job Summary

Responsible for operating systems and performing technical quality control on selected media. Completes work assignments independently or with minimal supervision/guidance. Projects require problem resolution using standard policies and procedures. Has developed specialized knowledge/skills in own area. May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May coordinate activities of others.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Assists staff with technical quality control checks on a variety of media.

Coordinates live event programming.

Troubleshoots problems involving signal path, media, programming and logs.

Maintains, verifies or produces paperwork, programming and operational procedures.

Ensures escalation procedures to report non-conforming media are followed.

Knowledge of video editing (file formats and software, Adobe experience helpful)

Familiarity with a variety of video file formats in order to download from various sources, put on a timeline, QC, trim, transcode, and upload to other systems for ingestion preferred

Attention to detail with data entry experience preferred

Daily scheduling and daily quality assurance checking of all scheduled assets once live on the platform

Creation of Metadata (information about each video file

Troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Takes initiative (will reach out to appropriate parties with questions/issues)

Able to interface with engineering teams (effectively communicating problem solving and troubleshooting details)

Able to work independently (late nights/weekends unaided)

Proficiency in both Windows and Apple Operating Systems

Knowledge of Excel

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
