Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
• Interact with clients, address inquiries, and provide case updates.
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings and settlement agreements.
• Manage the discovery process and negotiate settlements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Analyze cases to identify legal issues and devise strategies.
• Conduct case evaluations to assess success likelihood and risks.
• Utilize case management software for updates and document uploads.

Requirements

• Admitted and licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing.
• Experience handling personal injury cases is required.
• Strong research and writing skills with excellent academic credentials.
• Great interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
• Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Good organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
