Global Trade Compliance Program Manager (Ops Tech IT)
The candidate will be responsible for completing import and export compliance for different types of technology shipping to company’s sites around the world. For these initiatives, you will provide the business with critical SME knowledge and analyses on many topics, including classification, valuation, licensing requirements, partner government agency (PGA) implications, cost-savings initiatives, etc., on a global scale. To maintain compliance in line with growth in the long term, you will provide training, and create and implement scalable processes with business stakeholders. In executing this role, you will work directly with internal Legal, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Finance and Procurement teams, and a variety of external company’s partners. You will also work closely with all of company’s global trade teams. Manage a trade program, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance by building out systems and processes. Provide detailed subject matter expertise on import and export requirements for different types of technology and projects in different countries. In the case of new global initiatives, perform research on trade risks and opportunities, and summarize findings and recommendations in analyses for global stakeholders. Collaborate with company’s regional trade teams to execute new initiatives. Effectively lead large cross-functional projects, with a focus on scalability and integrated systems. Define and report on key performance and compliance metrics. Provide effective trade compliance training and public policy updates to stakeholders. Respond to official government inquiries, escalations or audits.
