Responsibilities
The Master Data Management and CRM Data Quality Developer will work with business and IS teams to develop solution options to address master data related business requirements and translate business requirements to detailed technical design specifications.
Adhere to technical project implementation methodologies and processes. Familiarity and ability to work through the full application implementation lifecycle (i.e. Project scoping, work effort estimation, business requirements capture/review/analysis, solution options, application design, development, configuration, testing and deployment)
Manage CRM Data Quality enhancement projects through the full application implementation lifecycle. Provide input to the design and development planning process. Lead development and testing. Provide post release support, enhancements and user training to the end user community.
Be responsible for maintaining CRM automated testing scripts the development of a Master Data Management and data cleansing center of excellence through the application of industry best practices and standards.
Communicate with vendors and end users to resolve issues.
Participate in and create IS Development policies, standards, and procedures for development, implementation, and on-going support of internally developed enhancements and interfaces.
Utilize tools to support development, implementation, and ongoing support of the system.
Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution of moderately complex application, and interface issues.
Create, and maintain extensions to standard Data Cleansing projects on SAP DQM, Information Steward and Siebel v8.1
Interface with all other team members in IS to ensure smooth operation, and integration of internally developed systems.
Perform advanced monitoring, hardware, software and operational support of DQM applications in a 24 x 7, on-call, information technology environment.
Maintain current knowledge of Master Data Management, data cleansing technologies & tools and application development techniques.
Participate in training activities as applicable.
Meet with other IS organizations to discuss operational issues, technology overlaps, etc.
Requirements
Industry knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in data quality technology
Hands on development experience using Master Data Management, data quality and data management tools to manage and maintain the quality of master data in an enterprise environment
Hands on automated testing experience
Requires 3 years development experience on Siebel applications using Siebel Tools, Siebel scripting, EAI
2 years development, configuration and administration experience with Enterprise Class Data Quality automation tools
2 years’ experience implementing or supporting enterprise class Master Data tools/applications.
Oracle database knowledge, SQL and PL/SQL.
Must have ability to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software applications.
Preferred
Prefer a B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/IS/MIS or related field or equivalent experience
Experience working with Oracle Master Data Management suite
Experience working with SAP DQM Data Services & Information Steward
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to collaborate and work with all levels of management
