Job Description:TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED TO OPERATE THE MACHINE DURING THEIR FIRST WEEK!!!- Candidates will be operating machines in the production of mylar balloons. The machines die cut the material, heat seals 2 separate materials together, and inserts an inflating tip. - Candidates will be loading rolls of raw materials (up to 50 lbs), do minor troubleshooting and assist with die changes. - Candidates will also be doing labeling and packaging.The machine SHOULD run itself when set up properly, but the machine operator will be responsible for ensuring the machine runs properly, assisting setup techs and maintenance teams, and quality checks throughout the day.The rolls to be loaded on the machine stay on carts that get wheeled around, candidate will also be responsible for loading them onto the machines.Qualifications:6 months of machine operating experience preferredConsistent work history, tenure of 8 months at past few positionsDesire to learn how to operate machinery and advance their knowledgeAbility to kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 poundsAbility to take direction from both peers and supervisorsAbility to operate computer controlled machinesAbility to meet deadlines consistentlyShift hours: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am and a rotating/alternating schedule.Week 1: Mon/Tue/Fri/SatWeek 2: Sun/Wed/Thur About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
