Dinsmore & Shohl has an immediate opportunity available for a labor and employment associate in Ann Arbor or Troy, Michigan. Candidates must have two to five years of employment law experience. Responsibilities include litigation defense, advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, drafting and revising employment policies, and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage law matters. Litigation experience is preferred, but not required. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes.
A license to practice in Michigan is required. All candidates should have a strong academic background and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
