Clinical Fellowship – Summer 2018
The fellow will co-teach and co-supervise, alongside experienced clinical faculty, the law students enrolled in the clinic. Will have the opportunity to learn about: Clinical education and public interest lawyering through the practice of engaging in each, teaching and supervising law students engaged in these activities, and participating in a program of study in which these are the primary topics of inquiry. Can receive specific instruction and guidance in teaching and supervising clinical law students, and in writing scholarship for publication during the two-year residential stay. Have mentorship and support from the clinical faculty and administration, and from the law school in general. Must be a member of a state bar. Should have 0-3 years of PQE. Must have strong academic, clinical, and lawyering experience. Experience in civil legal aid practice, community economic development law, criminal defense practice, cyber-violence, domestic violence, family law litigation, prisoner re-entry issues, small business and nonprofit law, and transactional law is highly desired.
