SIEM Consultant

Profile

Must be a US Citizen or green card holder. No EAD's. Must have Bachelor's degree and be open to 100% travel (M-F),
Selling Point: Need 2 years Information Security and 1 year SIEM/SEm experience. Will monitor security events for large clients. Higher level consultants will need design, build and implementation experience. Need tools and IDS (Intrusion Detection) experience and log analysis. Will look at all SIEM tools, ArcSight, CA, Cisco, LogLogic, RSA nVision, Symatec, etc. Need excellent soft skills and stability.
We are currently searching for consultants for our Security Technology practice with prior experience in the following areas: compliance, heavy infrastructure security skills including SIEM, Log Management, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, Network Monitoring, Security Monitoring & Networking Security Skills.
Responsibilities may include:
Monitor security events for large enterprise clients
Develop a comprehensive SIEM architecture to support real-time security monitoring operations
Build and implement SIEM reporting to inform and assist clients' incident response teams and security managers
Ability to communicate with all levels of clients, follow methodologies, and create/present clear, concise deliverables
Expertise with tools and processes used in security incident detection and handling
Security event analysis and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS Incident response - triage, incident analysis, remediation)
Demonstrate technical expertise with infrastructure architecture design/implementation and management.
Troubleshoot and configure networking devices, various platforms, and database (Oracle) Windows and/or UNIX system administration
Security Operations Center Procedures and Processes
Experience with SIEM and log management products: ArcSight, CA, Cisco, LogLogic, RSA EnVision, Symantec SIM, Symantec CCS, RSA DLP, LogRhythm, Q1Labs and other market place SIEM products
Develop processes and procedures around security event management
Ability to travel 100%
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of information security experience
Minimum 1 year of experience with SIEM/log management products, including ArcSight, CA, Cisco, LogLogic, RSA enVision, Symantec SIM, Symantec CCS, LogRhythm, Q1 Labs or another market place SIEM product
Minimum Bachelor's degree
