Reference Librarian

Duties: Reporting to the Head of Reference Services, the Reference Librarian assists student, faculty and attorneys in effectively understanding and using new and existing resources, technologies and library services. Working with assigned faculty to monitor research interests and support teaching and scholarship. Developing and teaching legal research instructional classes in formal and informal instructional settings. Preparing research guides and other instructional materials in print and electronic formats. Participating in the reference desk rotation 11-15 hours/week (including occasional evening and weekend shifts). Participating in the library’s social media and web presence.
