Job Description
As an Audit and Assurance Products and Solutions Product Owner Lead (preferably with strong data skills) you will be responsible for supporting the product strategy and direction, roadmap planning, requirements definition and product roll-out for an Agile/dev-ops based audit solution that is being built to further automate the way that we audit investments and investment funds. DNAV’s embedded data science automates this manual process entirely with advanced algorithms to compute a proven, statistically verified One Deloitte Price (ODP). The ODP is created without intervention – it leverages external pricing data feeds from multiple sources of independent data, thereby eliminating the time spent pricing securities and documenting validity of sources. You will also work with the existing Product Owners to support the overall objectives of the Audit & Assurance Products and Solutions team. You will gain exposure to other facets of the firm such as innovation, national office, and technology providing many network growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Working closely with our Chief Product Owner, software engineering, design and program management teams in an Agile environment to deliver products to the market
Review business requirements and analyzing data sources from Excel, SQL Server for design, development, testing, and produce report and analyze projects within Tableau Desktop
Create multiple workbooks and dashboards using Calculated fields, Quick table calculations, Custom hierarchies & Parameters to meet the business needs
Test and retrieve and validating the data using SQL statements
Document the end user requirements, testing it and providing solutions
Managing and supervising the team on business requirements and accomplishing the tasks before deadline.
Ability/Experience coding in different programming languages
Gathering feedback and input from auditors using the solution and translating this input back into requirements
Developing comprehensive product plans incorporating the latest market requirements
Prioritizing and managing the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget
Building business cases, defining and prioritizing business goals and objectives and measures of success
Prioritizing all projects, including the annual planning, forecasting and managing of resources.
Clarifying and driving short-term project priorities and commitments and establishing and maintaining clear channels of project management and accountability
Review business requirements and analyzing data sources from Excel, SQL Server for design, development, testing, and produce report and analyze projects..
Create database objects like tables, views, procedures, triggers, functions using SQL to provide definition, structure and to maintain data efficiently
Create multiple workbooks and dashboards using Calculated fields, Quick table calculations, Custom hierarchies & Parameters to meet the business needs.
Create Workbooks and dashboards for analyzing statistical billing data in Tableau Desktop and published them on to Tableau Server which allowed end users to understand the data on the fly with the usage of quick filters for on demand needed information
Use Action filters, Parameters and LOD calculations, Quick Table calculations etc. for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau
Continuous Client Interactions for analyzing business requirements
Develop Compelling, Interactive Dashboards
Build Complex Formulas (using “calculated-field” feature) for various business calculations
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. An advanced degree is also preferred
Years of Experience:
5 years of Technology consulting or other relevant industry experience
Technical Skills:
Tableau/Power BI, Tableau Desktop for data visualization, Reporting and Analysis; Cross tab, Scatter Plots, Geographic Map, Pie Charts and Bar Charts, Page Trails and Density Chart, Python, SQL
Other Skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams in delivery of new products or services
The ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy & present complex information concisely through written/verbal communication
Advanced people leadership skills and being able to confidently engage with senior leaders in the firm
Strong systems and application delivery ability
Ability to challenge the status quo, and to identify untapped opportunities and alternate approaches
Reasonable familiarity with other audit or other regulatory technology applications
Strong project management skills to keep multiple projects organized
Working knowledge or ability to learn Audit Methodology elements needed to understand and use as needed
Solve problems creatively
Apply technical audit knowledge to new scenarios and Identify and address challenges before they occur
Experience leading Agile/Scrum projects including SAFe Agile
Experience leading Agile/Scrum projects including experience working in TFS and/or ADO/VSTS
