Quality Control Assistant

Profile

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESs AND EXPECTATIONS:
Must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and perform quality work efficiently with minimum supervision.
Responsible for sampling packages for weight control, interpret data, communicate and make decisions.
Use bar coding equipment.
Must be able to quickly learn all production locations Quality Control functions.
Knows the targets/goals for his/her work center and reports noncompliance to operators and supervision.
Able to work flexible shifts and schedules including overtime.
Able to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Strong organizational skills.
Must pass written Quality Control test.
Perform other duties as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
GED or High School diploma highly desirable
Must be willing to work any shift
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb stairs to a height of 12 feet or higher.
