Head of Reference, Research & Instructional Services

Duties: Plans, coordinates, directs, and supervises reference and research services for users of the Law Library and participates actively in the instructional program at the Law School by teaching Legal Research to one section of first-year Lawyering Skills and assisting with the Law School’s Advanced Legal Research course. Supervises and manages the work of two full-time Reference and Research Services Librarians and student employees. Assists with library collection development by participating in decisions about new resources, both print and electronic and supervises all activities associated with publications and marketing. Manages the library’s rare books and special collections and government depository program. Reports to the Associate Dean for Library & Information Services and participates actively in the administration and management of the Library, including strategic planning and setting the vision and mission for the Law Library.
