Visiting Angels is hiring passionate caregivers, both skilled CNAs and intro-level caregivers, who can help achieve the highest quality of life for a senior in need. Your support can enable seniors the gift of aging at home safely with their families. Caregiving eases the management of an ongoing medical condition and helps avoid unnecessary hospitalization. This is an important role, and we are looking for caring individuals willing to help. On-going caregiver training available.
What will you be doing?
You will provide non-medical assistance to the part of our community needing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). This can include light housekeeping, meal preparation, providing engaging activities and driving clients to appointments.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) including showering, bathing, dressing, eating, and any other personal care/hygiene.
Transportation in personal vehicle as needed for appointments and errands
Medication reminders
Ensuring your client is safe when walking/transferring and assist when needed
Plan and prepare mealsLight housekeeping in the clients' general living areas
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Job Requirements
CNA (preferred)
Proven experience as a caregiver- (preferred, or will train)
Must possess a driver’s license and auto insurance
Reliable transportationClean background
TB test (current within the last year)CPR/First aid certification (current within last two years)
