Paralegal Adjunct Faculty - Summer/Fall 2019
The candidate will provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals. Conduct assigned classes and/or labs; Prepare lessons; Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information); Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets; Maintain office hours and voice-mail/e-mail communication; Refer students to student support services; Accommodate special needs students. Juris Doctor or graduate of an ABA-approved paralegal program with total education of a Bachelor's Degree plus 18 hours is required. Must have 5+ years as an instructor in an ABA-approved paralegal program. Must attend at least one ABA-faculty meeting per calendar year and submit documentation of at least three hours of continuing education related to teaching.
