Vice President, General Counsel
Candidate will provide executive and administrative direction over the College’s legal affairs as a member of the president’s cabinet. Reporting to the executive vice president, this executive will serve as the chief legal officer, providing legal support, advice and assistance to the board of trustees, president, vice presidents and other administrative officers, faculty and staff on all legal matters affecting the institution. As a highly visible member of the senior leadership team, will be responsible for a wide range of issues including contracts, subpoenas, business matters, personnel issues, student rights, and litigation. Will ensure that all College’s legal rights and opportunities are protected and that the College’s legal obligations are met. Will be expected to provide a proactive and collaborative approach to the legal issues associated with a dynamic organization committed to academic excellence in pursuit of the truth, growth in virtue, and service of God and neighbor.
