Global Technical Services (GTS) is seeking resumes for an
Manager/ HVAC Specialist
to work on site on a government contract. The ideal candidate will provide management services for over an eight person staff, performing preventive maintenance services in a 380,000 square foot laboratory facility..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Function as the lead HVAC Specialist for the entire lab (including a 10,000 square foot class 10 clean room).
Conduct weekly safety meetings
Manage maintenance and material budgets
Maximo or GFEBS experience.
Have OSHA 40 and HAZWOPER certifications
Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.
Many of the systems below, but not all, require maintenance as part of this position:
Air Handling Unit systems (AHUs) and related components
Make-Up Air Handler systems (MUA) (Class 10 and Class 100 Clean Room)
Recirculating Air Handling Unit systems (Class 10 and Class 100 Clean Room)
Laboratory and Office Air Handling Unit systems
Support Systems Air Handling Units (Mechanical and Electrical rooms)
Dry Room Dehumidifying Air Handling Unit & Condenser system
Computer Room Air Handling Unit systems (Liebert Packaged Units)
Variable Air Volume (VAV) Boxes with or without Reheat Coil systems
HVAC Distribution Piping system
HVAC Controls systems and Energy Management Control systems
Heating Hot Water system
Exhaust Fans: General and Corrosive systems
Scrubbers: Corrosive Exhaust systems
Fume Hoods
HVAC Air Delivery systems
Smoke Purge Fan systems
Air Shower Supply Fan and Enclosure system(s): Class 10 and Class 100 Clean Room
Compressed air systems
Heat pumps for communications/telephone closets
Humidification systems (including Mee Fog system)
NON - ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Required:
Have previous work experience in troubleshooting industrial and domestic heating and ventilation control systems.
Must be able to clearly communicate (oral and written) in the English language and work independently.
Must have good documentation and organization skills and be able to respond to calls outside of normal working hours.
Prior job references required

This position requires driving and working out of doors in extreme heat/ cold and possibly rainy weather and be able to work shifts if needed. Physical stamina and strength in all of its forms (endurance, temperature/ climate, stress, etc) is necessary

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level clearance.
