Are you interested in gaining valuable BIOTECH INDUSTRY experience?u00a0 This lab-based manufacturing role will give you the experience you're looking for while improving infectious disease detection!nLOCATION: Sunnyvale, CAnSHIFT TIMES: 1st (6am-2:30pm) 2nd (2pm-10:30pm) 3rd (10pm-6:30am)u00a0one weekend day requirednPAY RATE: $19/hr plus differential for 2nd and 3rd shiftsnCONTRACT LENGTH: 1 year with strong likelihood of conversion, extension, or promotionnESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:nntUnderstand and adhere to safety policies and practicesntFollow Clean Room Environment ProceduresntFollow documentation procedure (filling out Data History Records (DHRs), reading and understanding instructions from Work Release (WR), Planned Deviation Report (PDR) or Non-Conformance Report (NCR)ntRead and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Manufacturing Work Instructions.ntMaintain cleanroom standards, practices, and housekeeping according to standard operating procedures.ntSet up and operate manufacturing equipment.ntClean and maintain equipment and work area.ntWork under close supervisionntAbility to work in a team environmentntUse tools such as microscopes, tweezers, and other hand-held tools.ntPerform in-process inspection of components and assemblies to verify quality conformance.ntRecognize any minor issues from the equipment and any affiliated documentations and take appropriate corrective action within limited scope. Notify Supervisors and Leads of issues and discrepancies immediately.ntPerform several Manufacturing operations proficiently.ntApply company policies and procedures to complete daily tasks.nnu00a0nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:nEducation or Experience (in years):u00a0 nnt0-1 year of related experiencentHigh School diploma/GED or equivalent experiencennu00a0nKnowledge and skills:u00a0 nntKnows how to read drawings.nnntUnderstands Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)ntMust be a team player and able to demonstrate willingness and ability to provide assistance to co-workers.ntAbility to clearly and effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, managers and leads.u00a0 Able to understand instructions written and spoken in English.ntAbility to pay close attention to detail.ntBasic Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)ntAbility to solve basic math problemsnnu00a0nPhysical requirements/abilities:u00a0 nntMust be able to lift 25 lbs.ntAbility to work directly with and handle chemicals with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).nYou should know: Your safety matters!
